Launch of the only sweets festival in Canada Everything to entice your sweet tooth under one roof Sweets Expo to launch in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver Looking for your sugar fix? Look no further! Intev Productions Inc., today announced the launch of Sweets Expo, a new consumer show scheduled to take place in Toronto , Montreal and Vancouver . The new show will offer a dynamic and innovative marketplace of mixed confectionary goods. Attendees will have a chance to try the latest in chocolates, candy, gum, ice cream, nuts and every other imaginable confectionary under the sky. The dates and locations for Sweets Expo are as follows: Toronto Sweets Expo Saturday May 13 and Sunday 14, 2006 Metro Toronto Convention Centre Montreal Sweets Expo Saturday July 8 and Sunday 9, 2006 Palais des Congres de Montreal Vancouver Sweets Expo Saturday February 10 and Sunday February 11, 2007 VCEC "We are pleased to be offering a Canadian confectionary show. We feel this show will fill a void in the show industry and will allow attendees to try new sweets from across the globe that are just hitting the marketplace," said Tracey Robertson, Sales Manager of Sweets Expo. The inaugural Sweets Expo will allow attendees to see the latest the confectionary industry has to offer and will provide them with the chance to purchase an array of candy-related products. The main feature of Sweets Expo will be the Candy Showcase that will include manufacturers and retailers of every kind of confection, companies unveiling new products, nostalgic confections, confection for diabetics, sweets from around the world, candy -related gift items and everything one would need to make their own sweets. "There will also be interactive entertainment for the entire family. Several musicians and clowns will be on the show floor. We also plan on holding a "Fear Factor" Sweets Style Media Challenge, Chocolate Sculpture Competition and Auction and Sweets Fashion Show," Tracey Robertson commented.
